About Aso Coffee Roasters

Passed down from generation to generation, the passion and tradition of growing fine quality arabica beans is what makes Aso coffee an art. It all began when Aso, a local farmer from the Akha Hill Tribe in Pang Khon, Chiang Rai, started growing coffee in the northern part of Thailand. At the altitude of 1,200 - 1,400 meters above sea level, the pure air, perfect environment and suitable condition, allows for producing the the finest shade grown coffee in the region. Also, at Aso we pay extra attention to every detail during each stage; from harvesting to the processing of the coffee, ensuring that everyone can enjoy our unique artisan Aso coffee.

How do you know it will be delicious?

In our eyes, coffee’s main purpose is to be delicious. Every day, we go to great lengths to ensure this: we source, roast, taste, and prepare coffee with the intention of drawing out its best characteristics.

Coffee in our cafes is only sold within 48 hours out of the roaster. We taste our coffee every day to ensure it tastes as we intend it to. Our baristas “dial in” our coffees every morning, adjusting the grind, and modifying that day’s brewing specifications to ensure the most delicious flavor of every cup.
